The argument continued through late Sunday morning as Brian left their house for a trip to the nearby convenience store. Jones-Hurdlow followed him in her SUV.
An accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist during the Thursday afternoon rush hour on U.S. 60 near the Mill Avenue exit. Phillip Grant of Chandler was riding his motorcycle in the HOV lane when he collided with another vehicle. This first impact sent Mr. Grant into a second vehicle in the adjacent lane. Michael Freeman was killed Friday evening when a vehicle exiting a private drive pulled directly into the path of his motorcycle. The driver fled the scene, which was captured on surveillance video. Accident investigators with the Glendale Police Department say that Mr. Freeman reportedly was traveling west on Northern Avenue at 51st Avenue when the tragic incident occurred. Mr. Freeman attempted to lay down his motorcycle, but was unable to avoid the fatal collision.
Juan Manuel Mosqueira died Tuesday morning when his motorcycle collided with a Peterbilt garbage truck. The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. near Valencia and Country Club Roads. Bystanders rendered first aid until Tucson Fire Department paramedics arrived. In spite of their efforts, Mr. Mosqueira succumbed to his injuries.
