A motorcyclist was struck by a SUV that was turning left near Guadalupe and Rural roads in Tempe late Friday afternoon. According to Tempe Police Department accident investigators, the motorcyclie was northbound on Rural Road when the SUV turned left in front of him. The collision caused the SUV to roll.
Roger Gonzalez-McDaniel died Friday after his motorcycle struck a car making a turn onto Mission Road in the Silverlake area. Mr. Gonzalez-McDaniel was transported to a Tucson hospital where he passed away.
Two motorcycles collided with a van on Saturday afternoon in the southeast Valley between the cities of Mesa and Apache Junction. The accident occurred near Signal Butte Road and Apache Trail as the van crossed Main Street.

Phillip Grant of Chandler was riding his motorcycle in the HOV lane when he collided with another vehicle. This first impact sent Mr. Grant into a second vehicle in the adjacent lane. Michael Freeman was killed Friday evening when a vehicle exiting a private drive pulled directly into the path of his motorcycle. The driver fled the scene, which was captured on surveillance video. Accident investigators with the Glendale Police Department say that Mr. Freeman reportedly was traveling west on Northern Avenue at 51st Avenue when the tragic incident occurred. Mr. Freeman attempted to lay down his motorcycle, but was unable to avoid the fatal collision.
Juan Manuel Mosqueira died Tuesday morning when his motorcycle collided with a Peterbilt garbage truck. The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. near Valencia and Country Club Roads.
