Rollover Accident Claims Lives of High School Students Robert Henson and Bryce Carrigan

Tuba City, Arizona—Two teenagers were killed when the vehicle they were riding in rolled over early this morning near Tuba City.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Robert Henson, 18, and Bryce Carrigan, 14, died when their Chevy SUV left the roadway and rolled over. The accident occurred at Arizona 264 approximately 12 miles east of Tuba City.

The victims were students at Midland Classical Academy in Midland, Texas and were on a school trip to visit the Grand Canyon. Several other people were injured in the accident:

  • Matt Slavick (teacher)
  • Cliff Coleman (parent)
  • Colby Coleman (student)
  • Zach Evans (student)

Jayden Wingler, age 4, and Lucas Wingler, age 12, were seriously burned on Friday night when an amusement park bumper boat ride stalled, then caught fire as a park employee attempted to re-start it.  The incident occurred at Castles N’ Coasters near Metrocenter.
