Rollover Accident Claims Lives of High School Students Robert Henson and Bryce Carrigan

Tuba City, Arizona—Two teenagers were killed when the vehicle they were riding in rolled over early this morning near Tuba City.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Robert Henson, 18, and Bryce Carrigan, 14, died when their Chevy SUV left the roadway and rolled over. The accident occurred at Arizona 264 approximately 12 miles east of Tuba City.

The victims were students at Midland Classical Academy in Midland, Texas and were on a school trip to visit the Grand Canyon. Several other people were injured in the accident:

  • Matt Slavick (teacher)
  • Cliff Coleman (parent)
  • Colby Coleman (student)
  • Zach Evans (student)

We offer our deepest condolences to the friends and families of Mr. Henson and Mr. Carrigan. We wish a speedy and complete recovery to the others injured in this crash.

The Salmonella outbreak is linked to cucumbers grown at Rancho Don Juanito in Mexico and distributed by Andrew & Williamson, a food company based out of San Diego, California.
