Five Injured in Bus Stop Crash in Ahwatukee

Ahwatukee, Arizona—A collision between two cars pushed one of them into a bus stop near Chandler Boulevard and 44th Street on Sunday afternoon.  

An official with the Phoenix Fire Department reported that a 34-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were hospitalized in serious condition.  A 21-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were treated for less serious injuries.

Accident investigators have not released the names of any of the victims as they continue to explore the cause of the accident.  No additional information is available now.
