Coolidge, Arizona—Two people were air lifted from Arizona Boulevard in Coolidge on Thursday following a two car accident there. The collision occurred when the driver of a Chevrolet Impala failed to yield while leaving a commercial parking lot. The Impala collided with a southbound Kia Sonata, which caused the Kia to first strike a light pole, then hit a shopping center sign.

No one in the Impala was injured, and the driver was cited for failure to yield.

Names of those involved in the accident have not yet been released. We wish speedy recoveries for those who were injured.
