Anthony Dabbs Identified as Victim of Mayer Head-On Crash
Mayer, Arizona—Anthony Dabbs, age 35 of Glendale, has been identified as the victim of the head-on crash yesterday on SR-69 near Mayer.
The accident was investigated by the Department of Public Safety. Bart Graves, a spokesman for the agency, reported that Mr. Dabbs was operating a pickup truck on SR-69 behind a SUV. For unknown reasons, the rear wheels of the SUV locked up and the vehicle rotated 180 degrees before striking the pickup truck head-on.
Mr. Dabbs was the only occupant in the truck. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital in Phoenix with undisclosed injuries.

A head-on car accident on SR-69 near Dewey on Friday has left two people dead and a third with serious injuries. According to DPS investigators, Harry Traub and Abeline Traub were killed hen their vehicle veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Seven people were injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Willow Creek Road. One of the injured persons was air evac'd to John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix and two others were taken to YRMC with multi-system trauma.
Rockwell Lee was killed after a passenger transport van and a tractor-trailer collided on SR-260 in Camp Verde.
