Flagstaff, Arizona—The Coconino County Sheriff’s Department reports that a pickup truck carrying four people ran off the roadway and hit a tree Friday night, killing one of the occupants. Justin Denault, a 19-year-old student at Northern Arizona University, from Imperial, California, has been identified as the deceased.
According to accident investigators, the pickup was traveling eastbound on Ashurst Lake Road when, for unknown reasons, it slid off the road and struck a tree. All the occupants were transported to Flagstaff Medical Center. Mr. Denault was pronounced dead. The three other as-yet unidentified occupants were treated and released.
