Man Struck and Killed by Train in Flagstaff
Flagstaff, Arizona—A man was pronounced dead after being struck by a train in Flagstaff late Wednesday night. The incident occurred on the tracks near Route 66 and Ponderosa Parkway.
Police initially received the call around 10:00 p.m. reporting that two people were hit. Officers immediately were dispatched and found only one victim.

Justina Ashihi-Subia, a teacher in Tolleson, was killed earlier this week when the car in which she was a passenger drifted off the road and struck a guardrail on I-17 south of Flagstaff.
A semi-truck driver whose rig rear-ended another semi died in the fire that ensued. The truckers were westbound on I-40 near Flagstaff when the collision occurred.
A wrong-way accident on I-40 near Winona has left at least one person dead and other with serious injuries.
