Glendale Crash Kills Franklin Martin, Jr., Sends Three to Hospital
Glendale, Arizona—An accident between two cars in Glendale sent three people to the hospital early Saturday evening. The passenger in the front seat, identified as Franklin Martin, Jr., age 69, died from his injuries.
An initial accident report filed by the Glendale Police Department alleges that two cars were traveling northwest on Grand Avenue near 67th Avenue and Northern Avenue. The cars side-swiped each other, sending one carrying four people off Grand Avenue into a power pole. The as-yet-unidentified driver sustained life-threatening injuries but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
An accident investigation by the Glendale Police Vehicle Crimes Unit continues, as the cause of the accident remains unknown.
