Jorge Rivas Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash

Glendale, Arizona—Jorge Rivas, age 24, was killed Thursday morning when a vehicle turned left from 57th Drive in front of his northbound Honda. As a result, Grand Avenue was closed between 55th and 61st Avenues for an extended time.
Glendale Police accident investigators report that impairment was ruled out as a factor contributing to the accident. The investigation continues.
