Glendale, Arizona—Jose Vera, age 65, was struck and killed while crossing 43rd Avenue at Whitton Avenue. According to witnesses, the suspect vehicle continued northbound on 43rd Avenue without stopping.
Phoenix Police spokesperson Sgt. James Holmes reports that police are searching for a Dodge Caravan-style vehicle with a broken headlight on the driver’s side.
Police ask anyone who may have information regarding this tragic accident to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
