Goodyear, Arizona—A SUV carrying nine people eastbound on Interstate 10 just outside Goodyear rolled, killing two of the occupants and sending six others to hospitals nearby. Maria Del Carmen Chavez, age 31, and an as-yet-unidentified 4-year-old boy, both from Glendale, were identified as the deceased.
Arizona Department of Public Safety accident investigators believe driver fatigue may have caused the mid-morning accident.
