Nicole Classen Killed in Head-on Accident in Peoria

Peoria, Arizona—Nicole Classen, age 22, died of injuries she sustained in a head-on crash in Peoria on Sunday evening. According to Peoria Police, Ms. Classen was driving her SUV eastbound on Peoria Avenue when an SUV traveling westbound on Peoria near 89th Avenue drove left of the center line, striking Ms. Classen’s vehicle head-on. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The as-yet unidentified driver of the other SUV remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The accident investigation continues.
