Glendale, Arizona—Glendale Police say an as-yet unidentified 15-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car near 83rd Avenue and Oregon just before midnight on Sunday. Accident investigators report that the teen apparently was crossing 83rd Avenue on his skateboard when he was struck.
The driver remained at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the teen over this tragic loss for them.
