Robert Strickbine, Kalley Strickbine Killed in Bicycle Accident
Glendale, Arizona—Robert Strickbine, age 61, and his daughter, Kalley Strickbine, age 13, were killed last night when their bicycle was hit by a vehicle. The accident occurred at 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale.
According to investigators with the Glendale Police Department, Mr. Strickbine picked up Kalley from a friend's home and his daughter was riding on the handlebars. A Dodge Dart driven by an unidentified woman struck them as they were crossing Thunderbird Road. Both of the victims were thrown from the bicycle and died from the injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Dart remained at the scene. Police believe impairment and medical issues may have been a factor in the deadly crash. The accident investigation is ongoing.
