Car Accident in Glendale Kills Man, Seriously Injures Girl

Glendale, Arizona—Two vehicles were eastbound on Union Hills Drive near 63rd Avenue on Saturday night when one vehicle rear-ended the other, killing one passenger and critically injuring another.  The as-yet unidentified male seated behind the driver of the car that was hit was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

A 12-year-old girl seated beside him was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.   The driver was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.  The front seat passenger was not hurt, nor were the two people in the car that caused the accident.  The investigation is ongoing.
