Five Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on I-40 Near Kingman
Kingman, Arizona—Five people were killed today in a wrong-way crash that occurred on I-40 west of Kingman. It occurred at about 9:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-40 near milepost 36.
According to accident investigators with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Harold Wayne Wickham, age 82 from Nevada, was driving a 2015 Honda sedan the wrong way on the interstate when he collided head-on with a 2010 Nissan sedan driven by Tsun Tong Chan of New York City. All five occupants of the two vehicles were killed.
The deceased have ben identified as:
- Tsun Tong Chan, age 57, of New York City
- Wai Kam Ngai, age 54, of New York City
- Ching Kwong Chan, age 21, of New York City
- Harold Wayne Wickham, age 82, of Laughlin, Nevada
- Ella Wickham, age 90, of Laughlin, Nevada

A minivan traveling in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 struck several other vehicles before smashing head-on into a pickup near Cedar Pocket Recreation Area on Monday morning.
A head-on collision on SR-95 just north of Lake Havasu City claimed the lives of Maria Ramirez-Rangle and her 10-year-old daughter.
Accident investigators with the Lake Havasu City Police Department report that an as-yet unidentified female motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a semi-truck.
