Tour Bus Crash Near Grand Canyon Kills One, Injures 42

Grand Canyon West, Arizona—A tour bus from Las Vegas crashed on its way to the Grand Canyon Skywalk on the Hualapai Reservation in Arizona. One person was killed and 42 others sustained injuries.
According to investigators with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, the bus was carrying 48 people and was on Diamond Bar Road as it approached the Grand Canyon National Park. The driver of the bus lost control and the bus rolled on its side. One person was killed and numerous others were taken to hospitals for treatment, including two who are in critical condition.
The accident remains under investigation and excessive speed has not been ruled out as a cause of the accident.
