Multiple People Injured While Pushing Disabled Vehicle on Mesa Freeway

Mesa, Arizona—Several people were injured while pushing a disabled vehicle out of the roadway in Mesa early Sunday morning.
According to Arizona Department of Public Safety accident investigators, the disabled vehicle was on eastbound Loop 202 near Dobson Road just before 5:00 a.m. As the vehicle was being moved off the roadway, another vehicle struck the people who were pushing it, seriously injuring them.
No additional information regarding the victims’ identities or current medical conditions was released.
