Expectant Mother and Two Children Injured in Car Accident

San Tan Valley, Arizona—An expectant mother and her two young children were hospitalized with serious injuries when their car was broadsided by a truck on Hunt Highway.
 
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at Hunt Highway and Stone Creek Drive at about 5:30 P.M. yesterday.

The as-yet unidentified woman was making a left turn into a parking lot when her car was broadsided by a truck heading northbound on Hunt Highway.  Her car was pushed into a tree and a light post.

The woman’s children are ages four and five years.  She is six months pregnant.

PCSP subsequently reported that all those who were injured are expected to fully recover.  The investigation is ongoing.  No charges are pending

We wish the young mother and her children swift and complete recoveries.
