
Larry Lans Struck and Killed in Early Morning Accident in Mesa

Mesa, Arizona—Mesa Police Department accident investigators report that 81-year-old Larry Lans was struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene early Tuesday morning. The collision occurred at Alma School Road near Isabella Avenue. The suspect vehicle also struck an electrical box which caused an electrical outage in the area.
Police are searching for a light-colored Ford Ranger with substantial damage to the front passenger side. Please contact the Mesa Police Department at (480) 644-2211 if you have information regarding the hit-and-run driver.
