Motorcycle Accident in Apache Junction Claims Life of Clinton Pennington

Apache Junction, Arizona—Clinton Pennington, age 36, was killed as a result of a collision with a school bus in Apache Junction early this morning.

According to the Apache Junction Police Department, the collision occurred near the entrance of an apartment complex at 380 S. Phelps Drive. The school bus was driving northbound on Phelps Drive near Broadway when it attempted a left turn into the path of Mr. Pennington's motorcycle. Mr. Pennington was unable to avoid a collision and slid under the bus, suffering fatal injuries. Ten children were on the bus at the time of the accident. None reported injuries.

Detectives with the Apache Junction Police Department continue to investigate the deadly motorcycle accident.
