Phoenix Police Investigating Motorcycle Accident that Killed Brannen Carter

Phoenix, Arizona—Brannen Carter, age 30, was killed on Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by another vehicle near 16th Street and Campbell.

According to accident investigators with the Phoenix Police Department, Mr. Carter was operating his 2012 Harley Davidson Sportster southbound on 16th Street near Campbell when a 23-year-old woman attempted to make a left turn from a private driveway. The two vehicles were thrown and Mr. Carter sustained extensive injuries. He was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

The woman driving the SUV was not believed to be impaired, but detectives have not disclosed whether she will face criminal charges in connection with the deadly motorcycle accident.
