
Braxton Lefton Killed After Motorcycle Hit Head-On

Bullhead City, Arizona—The driver of a pickup truck crossed the center line of SR-95 into oncoming traffic where her vehicle struck and killed a motorcyclist Saturday. The tragic accident occurred near Retail Way.
Bullhead City Police Department accident investigators report that Jolana Sopel, age 59 of Colorado, reportedly suffered a medical incident before her Toyota pickup collided with the motorcycle driven by Braxton Douglas Lefton, age 24 of Simi Valley, California.
Two friends from Simi Valley accompanied Mr. Lefton on his trip to Arizona. The motorcyclists traveled side-by-side. Robert Luna II, age 29, and his passenger Sierra Linenberger, age 33, were injured when Mr. Lefton’s motorcycle was pushed into theirs.
All three cyclists were transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where Mr. Lefton later died. The accident remains under investigation.
