Cathy Coppes Killed in Head-On Motorcycle Accident Outside Flagstaff

Flagstaff, Arizona—Cathy Coppes, age 58, was killed when a suspected impaired driver crossed the centerline and collided head-on with her motorcycle.  The accident occurred on Sunday around 10:30 a.m. on U.S. 89 about 20 miles north of Flagstaff.   

Ms. Coppes was a 911 dispatcher with the Chandler Police Department.  She was pronounced deceased at the scene and is survived by her husband.  The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
