Black Canyon City, Arizona—A wrong-way driver sideswiped several cars as he drove north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 17 on Tuesday afternoon.

Darroll Wayne Roberts, age 76 of Black Canyon City, ran over motorcyclist Cindy Lee Meade, age 50, a mother of five, killing her instantly.  The wrong-way vehicle traveled for several hundred feet more until it stopped after striking a guardrail.
