Colin Newman Injured in Car-Motorcycle Accident

Sierra Vista, Arizona—Colin R. Newman, age 25, sustained a broken leg and other injuries when a Volkswagen sedan turned into the path of Mr. Newman’s motorcycle Monday afternoon.  The accident occurred on Fry Boulevard near Third Street.

Mr. Newman was air evacuated to University of Arizona Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Thomas W. Bjork, age 69, was cited for making an unsafe turn.

We wish Mr. Newman a rapid and complete recovery.
