Bullhead City, Arizona—A motorcyclist died following a collision with a school bus early Wednesday morning.  Dennis Lawrence MacLean, age 65 of Fort Mohave, was northbound on Highway 95 when the bus, operated by the Bullhead City Elementary School District, turned left from Wolf Court onto Highway 95.  Mr. MacLean’s motorcycle struck the left side of the bus which had eight students on board.

Mr. MacLean was transported to Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave where he was pronounced deceased.  According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, there were no injuries to students or the bus driver.  Students were detained as witnesses for a short time to provide statements to authorities.  They were then transported to class on another school bus.

Our sympathies are with Mr. MacLean’s family and friends over this tragic loss.
