
Edgar Acevedo Killed in Buckeye Motorcycle Accident

Buckeye, Arizona—Edgar Miguel Acevedo, age 19 of Illinois, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Miller Road in Buckeye on Sunday.
According to accident investigators with the Buckeye Police Department, Mr. Acevedo was riding with a group of friends on Sunday morning when he and another rider went down at about 7:30 a.m. The accident occurred in front of the Love's Traffic Stop on Miller Road, just south of Interstate 10.
Mr. Acevedo and the other rider both were taken to a local hospital. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful and Mr. Acevedo died at the hospital. The other rider had non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unknown what caused Mr. Acevedo and the other rider to go down. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
