Motorcycle Accident in North Phoenix Claims Life of Korbin Massey

Phoenix, Arizona—Korbin Massey, age 20, was killed as he rode his motorcycle northbound on Cave Creek Road near Utopia Road in north Phoenix.

The fatal accident occurred on Saturday evening around 6:00 p.m. and was investigated by the Phoenix Police Department. Detectives report that a woman driving a Honda Civic was attempting to exit a private driveway to proceed southbound on Cave Creek Road when she turned left into the path of Mr. Massey's motorcycle.

Mr. Massey was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash.

Accident investigators do not believe that impairment was a factor in the collision.
