Tucson Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Marco Sanchez

Tucson, Arizona—A motorcycle accident on Monday that occurred on Grant Road claimed the life of Marco Antonio Sanchez, age 26.

According to accident investigators with the Tucson Police Department, Mr. Sanchez was eastbound on Grant Road when the driver of a Kia turned left in front of him. Vehicles in the center and median lanes had stopped to allow the Kia to turn, but Mr. Sanchez was in the curb lane as it approached and the Kia turned right in front of him. The vehicles collided and Mr. Sanchez was thrown from his motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet.

Paramedics with Tucson Fire Department arrived on scene and rendered aid to Mr. Sanchez. He died at the scene before he could be transported to a hospital.
