Meryl Austin Killed in Motorcycle-Car Accident

Prescott, Arizona—Meryl Austin, age 69, was killed Sunday evening when a car driven by 61 year old Stanley Bindell of Chino Valley turned in front of Mr. Austin’s bike on Highway 89 at the Watson Lake scenic overlook.  Accident investigators report that the turn was unlawful, as a sign posted there forbids all turns.

The tragic incident remains under investigation.

We extend our sympathy to Mr. Austin’s family members and friends at this time of great loss for them.
