Renee Doty Dies Following Tucson Motorcycle Accident

Tucson, Arizona—Renee Doty, age 37, died as the result of injuries she received in a motorcycle accident on Stone Avenue on Sunday night.  Ms. Doty was the passenger on the back of a motorcycle that was northbound on Stone near Limberlost Drive.

She was thrown from the motorcycle when the driver hit the back of a stalled Mercedes.  The motorcycle driver then fled the scene before Tucson Police arrived.

Ms. Doty was transported to a hospital, where she died the following day.  The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured.

Accident investigators have not said whether the motorcycle driver has been identified or apprehended.  The investigation is ongoing.
