Tucson, Arizona—Robin Rawlings, age 46, was killed Sunday evening when a car driven by 17-year-old Alyssa Franks failed to yield from a private driveway and struck Ms. Rawlings’ motorcycle.  The tragic incident occurred on Orange Grove Road near La Cañada.

Franks was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex, charged with manslaughter and DUI.  It was later reported that a judge dismissed the charges, but they may be re-filed at a later date.

We extend our condolences to Ms. Rawlings’ family and friends at this time of great loss for them.
