Tucson, Arizona—Stephen Florio, age 66, died as the result of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon.  Tucson Police investigators report that Mr. Florio was riding his Harley-Davidson westbound on 22nd Street near Fordham Drive when a sedan pulled in front of his motorcycle from a side street.

Though Mr. Florio laid his motorcycle on its side, forward momentum carried him into the side of the car.  He was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at a hospital.

The sedan was occupied by four teens, none of whom was hurt.

Our sympathies are with the Florio family and friends as they mourn losing Stephen.
