Makinzie Johnson Killed in Tragic Accident Involving Tour Bus

Phoenix, Arizona—Makinzie Johnson, age 5, died in an accident at a Motel 6 near Interstate 17 in north Phoenix on Friday night.  The young girl left her motel room and was struck by the rear side of a tour bus that was moving through the hotel parking lot.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Phoenix Police accident investigators report that impairment was not a factor and no charges are being filed. 

A GoFundMe page has been established to help Makinzie's family with funeral costs.
