Joseph Medina and Patricia Castaneda Killed After Vehicle Strikes Power Pole

Phoenix, Arizona—Joseph Medina and Patricia Castaneda, both 26, were killed in a single vehicle accident early this morning when their car struck a power poll and rolled.

The accident occurred near 51st Avenue and Estrella near Laveen and was investigated by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. According to MCSO spokesman Joaquin Enriquez, the driver lost control of the vehicle before it rolled several times. Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
