Miriam Gonzalez Killed in Head-On Collision With Reckless Motorist

Phoenix, Arizona—Miriam Gonzales, age 41, was killed yesterday in a head-on collision caused by a reckless driver.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, Ms. Gonzales was driving southbound on 83rd Avenue near Pomo Street when a vehicle driven by Francisco Carranza Sanchez crossed the center line and collided head on with her vehicle. Mr. Gonzales was speeding after having just fled the scene of another collision. Mr. Gonzalez also died in the crash.
