Robert Charles Heine Killed By Motorist Who Made Unsafe Lane Change

Scottsdale, Arizona—Robert Charles Heine, age 51 of Apache Junction, died yesterday as a result of injuries he received from a motorcycle-car crash on Loop 101 near McKellips Road.  Mr. Heine rear-ended a passenger car on the freeway when the car suddenly changed lanes in front of him.  Mr. Heine was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, where he later died.

Arizona Department of Public Safety accident investigators have not yet reported whether arrests will be made or traffic citations issued.

We express our sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Heine at this time of great loss for them.
