James Stryker, Rebecca Stryker, Travis Stryker Killed, Austin Stryker Injured in Head-On Collision

Marble Canyon, Arizona—James Lee Stryker, Rebecca Simpson Stryker and Travis Stryker were killed Tuesday, and Austin Stryker was seriously injured when their van was struck head-on by a car that that first hit another car then crossed the Highway 89A centerline and crashed into the Stryker vehicle.  All four victims were members of the same family, who were vacationing from their home in Allen, Texas.

James Stryker, age 56, and Rebecca Stryker, age 60, were the parents of Travis and Austin, 16 year old twins.

Austin was air evacuated to Flagstaff Medical Center where he is being treated for a back injury.  The Strykers’ remaining child, Stephanie Stryker, did not join the family on their vacation.  She was away at college, but presently is en route to Flagstaff to be with Austin.

The accident investigation continues by Arizona Department of Public Safety.

We extend our condolences to Austin, Stephanie and all the members of the extended Stryker family at this time of great loss.  We wish those who were injured speedy and complete recoveries.
