Audry April Smith and John Carlos Sorto were killed early Saturday morning when their motorcycle reportedly crashed into a transition wall ramp connecting the Interstate 10 west to Interstate 17 north. Mr. Soto was operating the bike and Ms. Smith was his passenger.

Ana Maria barrera-Bogarin Killed While Protecting Co-Worker

Ana Maria Barrera-Bogarin was killed Tuesday when she was run over by a tractor which was pulling a piece of farm equipment. Ms. Barrera-Bogarin was walking with a coworker when the tractor backed up into their path.

James Stryker, Rebecca Stryker, Travis Stryker Killed, Austin Stryker Injured in Head-on Collision

James Stryker, Rebecca Stryker and Travis Stryker were killed Tuesday, and Austin Stryker was seriously injured when their van was struck head-on by a car that that first hit another car then crossed the Highway 89A centerline and crashed into the Stryker vehicle. All four victims were members of the same family, who were vacationing from their home in Allen, Texas.

Nathan Joseph Painter Enters Not Guilty Plea in Hit-and-Run Collision

Nathan Joseph Painter of Tempe, entered pleas of not guilty this morning to eight charges filed against him in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Chandler on October 26th. Painter is facing prosecution on aggravated DUI, hit-and-run, aggravated assault, and endangerment, among others.

Miriam Gonzales Killed in Head-On Collision With Reckless Motorist

Miriam Gonzales was killed yesterday in a head-on collision caused by a reckless driver. According to the Phoenix Police Department, Ms. Gonzales was driving southbound on 83rd Avenue near Pomo Street when a vehicle driven by Francisco Carranza Sanchez crossed the center line and collided head on with her vehicle.

Joseph Medina and Patricia Castaneda were killed in a single vehicle accident early this morning when their car struck a power poll and rolled.

John Ollis and Skye Orozca Killed in Motorcycle-Semi Accident

John Ollis and Skye Orozca were killed last night in a horrific collision with a semi-truck near 99th Avenue and Buckeye Road. The two were riding west on Buckeye Road when the semi, driven by Carlos Moran made a left turn from a driveway onto Buckeye Road in front of the motorcycle.

Robert Charles Heine Killed By Motorist Who Made Unsafe Lane Change

Robert Charles Heine of Apache Junction died yesterday as a result of injuries he received from a motorcycle-car crash on Loop 101 near McKellips Road. Mr. Heine rear-ended a passenger car on the freeway when the car suddenly changed lanes in front of him. Mr. Heine was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, where he later died.

Andy Chilimidos and Darlene Atencio Killed By Drunk Driver

Andy Chilimidos and Darlene Atencio, both of St. Johns, were killed early Saturday morning when a reportedly inebriated driver, Maikil Doud Schol of the nation of Sudan, struck their motorcycle head-on on Loop 202 near the Priest Drive exit. Schol was driving the wrong way on the freeway when the collision occurred.

2-Year-Old Son of Davin and Sara Tarnanen Killed by Waste Management Truck

Sara and Davin Tarnanen lost their two year old son just after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday when the driver of a Waste Management recycling truck backed over the boy while he and his five siblings were playing in or near their yard around 40th Street and Ashler Hills Road. Ms. Tarnanen was supervising her children at the time and witnessed the tragic event. She attempted to alert the driver of the truck, Bernardo Hernandez, of the toddler’s presence, but to no avail.
