lenny Lubers, Gordon Lee Smith and David Bechtel Killed, A Dozen Injured in Dust Storm Crashes

Lenny Lubers of Phoenix, Gordon Lee Smith of Mead, Washington, and David Bechtel of Milton, Iowa, were killed in the multi-vehicle accident that occurred during a dust storm on westbound Interstate 10 yesterday. Mr. Smith’s wife, whose name has not yet been released, survived the crash and is under treatment for her injuries. There are no reports as yet on passengers in Mr. Lubers’ or Mr. Bechtel’s vehicles.

James Scott Burford and William Burford Killed in Collision With Teenage Driver

James Scott Burford and William Burford, both of Mohave Valley died as a result of injuries they received in a head-on crash Monday night on State Route 95 with a car driven by a 17-year-old man from Moore, Oklahoma. That driver, Sean Anthony Ward, and his passenger, Jessica Qualkenbush, age 14 of Fort Mohave, were also killed in the accident.

Eric Garces, Age 3, Dies Two Days After Collision

Eric Garces, just 3 years old, died two days after being seriously injured in a car accident on Saturday. Eric was one of three children and three adults riding in a Nissan when the accident occurred at about 7:15 P.M.

Mary Boysman Killed, Raja Marlmuthu Seriously Injured by Wrong-Way Driver

Mary Boysman of Oswego, New York, was killed early yesterday morning when the SUV in which she was a passenger was struck head-on by a wrong-way driver on State Route 51 between Bell and Greenway Roads. Ms. Boysman’s commercial driver, Raja Marlmuthu, was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.

Two Couples Killed in Yavapai County Plane Crash

James Parrish his wife Lisa Parrish, Mike Hughes, and his wife, Joy Hughes, were all killed Friday afternoon when their Cessna 340 aircraft reportedly struck either trees or a radio tower, then exploded on impact. The tragic incident occurred on the grounds of the Gunsite Firearms Training Academy in Paulden.

Lacey Gruntorad Killed, Haili Hill Seriously Injured When Car Crashed Into Building

Lacey Gruntorad was killed and another woman, Haili Hill, was seriously injured on Friday when an 87-year-old woman crashed her car into the Pima Medical Institute. Both young women were students at a Gilbert massage therapy school that occupied the space where the tragic accident occurred.
