Chase Simington and Michael McGlothlin Injured in Rollover Accident

Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident shortly before 6:00 p.m. involving a Chevy pickup truck on Nellie Drive near Interstate 40.  The driver, Chase Simington, suffered a broken shoulder and ribs.  His passenger, Michael McGlothlin, sustained a collapsed lung, an orbital bone fracture and several lumbar fractures.

Five Injured When Construction Truck Rolls on Loop 101

Five people were transported to area hospitals early Monday morning for treatment of injuries when a construction truck rolled over in the northbound lanes of Loop 101 in Scottsdale. The construction truck hit two other vehicles as it rolled.

A collision between two cars pushed one of them into a bus stop near Chandler Boulevard and 44th Street on Sunday afternoon.   An official with the Phoenix Fire Department reported that two people were hospitalized in serious condition.

One Killed, Three Injured as Car Plunges from Overpass

Three people were seriously injured and one person was killed when a car plunged off an overpass in downtown Phoenix on Friday afternoon. A brown Chrysler driven by an as-yet-unidentified 65-year-old man was southbound on the 23rd Avenue frontage road that runs parallel to Interstate 17.  Where I-17 passes under Grant Street, the middle lane of the frontage road allows vehicles to either continue traveling straight or turn left.

Amanda Cook, Age 8, Killed in Rollover Accident Outside Yuma

Seven members of a Queen Creek family were on their way to Yuma to deliver loaves of bread for a fundraiser when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll.  The accident occurred Saturday on Interstate 8 just outside Yuma. According to DPS accident investigators, Amanda Faith Cook, age 8, had just unbuckled her seatbelt to pick up something on the floor of the car when the vehicle rolled and she was ejected.

Mark Dickson was struck and killed while riding his bicycle near 40th Street south of Bell Road in Phoenix on Sunday evening.  Phoenix Police Department accident investigators report that the hit-and-run accident occurred in front of a fire station.
