Christopher Erickson and Hunter Votaw Killed in ATV Crash

Phoenix, Arizona—Christopher Robert Eugen Erickson and Hunter Zachery Votaw, both age 21, died at the scene of a tragic ATV crash Saturday morning near Jomax Road and 52nd Street.

Accident investigators with the Phoenix Police Department reportedly concluded that Mr. Votaw was driving the ATV and Mr. Erickson was his passenger.  Officers believe that Mr. Votaw failed to negotiate a turn from Jomax onto 52nd Street, causing the ATV to roll. Both men were ejected.

We extend our condolences to the Erickson and Votaw families at this time of great loss for them.
