
Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona—Phoenix Police report that an as-yet unidentified 50-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver as he crossed McDowell Road on Wednesday night.
The accident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. when the vehicle traveling eastbound on McDowell struck the man near 38th Street. According to witnesses, the suspect vehicle is a red SUV.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
