
Johnny Nero Killed on Motorized Bicycle in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona—Johnny Nero, age 51, was killed when he was hit by a vehicle while operating his motorized bicycle. The accident occurred this morning near 15th Avenue and Buckeye Road in Phoenix.
According to accident investigators with the Phoenix Police Department, Mr. Nero was southbound on 16th Avenue and approaching Buckeye Road. Police believe he did not stop at a stop sign when he entered Buckeye Road and was struck by a pickup truck. Mr. Nero was rushed to a local hospital where he died.
It is unknown whether vehicle speed or driver inattention played in the role in the accident.
