Kimberley McMahon Dead from Hit-and-Run Accident in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona—Passersby found a body along the side of 43rd Avenue early this morning, the apparent victim of a hit-and-run accident.  Phoenix Police were called to the area of 43rd and Highland avenues at about 4:17.  It appeared that the victim, later identified as Kimberley McMahon, had been struck and killed by a vehicle.

Police have no description of the suspect vehicle nor the driver.  Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to call Phoenix Police at (602) 262-6151 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377).

We extend our condolences to Ms. McMahon’s family and friends over this tragic loss for them.
