Phoenix, Arizona—A passenger in a pickup truck has died as the result of injuries she received when the truck in which she was riding was hit by a speeding sedan on Thursday night.  According to Phoenix Police Department accident investigators, the driver of the sedan, identified only as a 19-year-old male, was speeding eastward on Indian School Road when his car struck the pickup as the truck turned left onto 55th Avenue.

Police indicate that neither driver was impaired.  The investigation is ongoing

Our sympathies are with Ms. Ochoa’s family and friends at this time of great loss for them.  We wish the two injured victims fast and full recoveries.
