
Leticia Ochoa Killed in Phoenix Car Accident, Two Others Injured

Phoenix, Arizona—A passenger in a pickup truck has died as the result of injuries she received when the truck in which she was riding was hit by a speeding sedan on Thursday night. According to Phoenix Police Department accident investigators, the driver of the sedan, identified only as a 19-year-old male, was speeding eastward on Indian School Road when his car struck the pickup as the truck turned left onto 55th Avenue.
All occupants of both vehicles were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Shortly after arrival, Leticia Ochoa, age 61, succumbed to her injuries. The pickup driver, identified only as a 68-year-old man, is listed in serious condition. The 19 year old suspect driver of the sedan is in critical condition.
Police indicate that neither driver was impaired. The investigation is ongoing
