Phoenix, Arizona—A woman involved in a collision in north Phoenix on Monday has died and another remains in the hospital with serious injuries.

Lola Thomason, age 49, was driving westbound on Bell Road when she attempted a left turn onto 26th Street. As she made the turn, her vehicle was hit by another vehicle traveling eastbound on Bell Road. Ms. Thomason and the woman driving the other vehicle both were taken to a local hospital.
