
5-Year-Old Hospitalized, Others Injured in Phoenix Car Accident

Phoenix, Arizona—A serious car accident at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Peoria Avenue has resulted in injuries to at least three people, including a 5-year-old.
According to investigators with the Phoenix Police Department, a Buick driving southbound on 43rd Avenue attempted a left turn at Peoria when it collided with a pickup truck heading northbound.
A nine-year-old was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The other injured parties were described as a 29-year-old female and 28-year-old male. Those individuals also were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation and impairment is not suspect as a factor in the crash.
