Nuvia Villalobos Killed in Crash with School Bus

Phoenix, Arizona—Nuvia Villalobos, age 33, was killed Monday morning when the Jeep in which she was riding collided with an empty school bus. Another occupant of the Jeep, a 16-year-old male, was critically injured and transported to a local trauma center. The bus driver was not injured.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office accident investigators determined that Ms. Villalobos was traveling south on 71st Avenue when her Jeep collided with a school bus that was traveling west on Broadway Road. Accident investigators with the Phoenix Fire Department and MCSO continue to investigate the tragic crash.
